This March 3, 1921 issue of Adventure magazine contains serialized adventure fiction and short stories by prominent authors. The cover story is Talbot Mundy's five-part serial "Guns of the Gods," depicting the youth of Princess Yasmini in India, told by a narrator who gained access to her account. Other featured works include "The Heart of the Range" conclusion by William Patterson White; G.A. Wells's "Clothes and the Man"; John Buchan's "The Path of a King"; tales by Hugh Pendexter, L. Patrick Greene, Kenneth Gilbert, J.P. Leland, and Chester L. Saxby covering subjects from lumberjacking to the cockpit to seafaring hardship; and H. Bedford-Jones and W.C. Robertson's "The Temple of the Ten," a mystery set in the Gobi Desert. The issue also includes poems, practical service features, and numerous period advertisements for business courses, medical devices, and consumer goods.
Each page has its own page — the cartoon, who’s in it, and what the satire means.
